Suitable Fabric:
For either variation, choose a light to medium-weight non-stretch fabric with low drape. Avoid heavy fabrics, as theymake the garment more difficult to sew. Various linen andcotton fabrics are well suited to this garment.
Fabric Requirements:
The fabric requirements include a 5% allowance for shrinkage. Note that the fabric consumption may be greater for fabrics with a pattern and for fabrics that need to be cut in one direction.
